Lithuania's exchange. By Amalia Marchena Ruda.

From 22nd April to 27th April, Aurelio, Daniel, Beatriz and Alba were in exchange in Lithuania.
They told us that it was an amazing experience but not everything was as good as we thought. The day that they arrived to Lithuania, when they were waiting for their suitcases to go to the village where their partners were waiting for them, they realized that Alba’s and Alejandro’s suitcases weren’t there. Their company lost them! The company gave them a bag with some things necessary to live such us a XL t-shirt and a pair of comfortable socks (that part is pure ironic). Aurelio and Beatriz had very interesting neighbors on the bath: spiders. Also, a drunk Lithuanian man wanted to hit Aurelio and nobody knows the reason why he wanted to do it. But…the best experience (and also the funniest) was the last day. The plane let them in Malaga´s airport and they took a bus to go from Malaga to Brenes. They’ve just started the travel when they smelt something weird.-What’s that, guys?-It’s garlic [they were eating bread of garlic]-No, it smells like smoke. They didn’t have time to call the teacher when the smoke was all around them in the bus. YES, THE BUS WAS ON FIRE!! They run out the bus trying to be safe. They found a gas-station so they were waiting there for another bus. These are the worst experiences. They’ve learnt how to survive if the bus is on fire and how to live if you don’t have your clothes, make-up …In the other hand we have the good experiences. They have been in a beautiful country where everything is green and that it’s very, very, very different to Spain. In Spain everyone in the street is happy, smiling but there it seems like anyone is happy, they don’t smile and it looks like they are angry. They have known another people and make new friends. They’ve danced and had fun all the time. And, also, they learnt things from another culture.Well…you’d call this travel “trouble’s exchange” but, they said that it was a really good experience and that they want repeat (they hope that if they repeat the exchange they’d preferred not having as bad experiences as they had).

Lithuania

On 22th April Beatriz, Daniel, Alba and Aurelio went to Lithuania with two teachers. On the first day they took many planes and buses to go to Riga. Alba lost her suitcase in the plane, so she had to wait until the next day to have it. After that they met their families, they only ate pasta and pizza, and Beatriz didn't like her room because she had to sleep with a dog.

They saw many monuments there, and they met many people. Last day they slept in a hotel and in their return their bus started to burn and they had to wait until another bus came.

MY PARTNERS' TRIP TO LITHUANIA

Last month, on 22th April, my friends and partners Beatriz, Alba, Aurelio and Daniel travelled to Lithuania, participating in the exchange.

First of all they took a bus to Malaga. There, they had to take the first plane, they travelled to Helsinki, Riga and Velinius. In that airport, Alba and the history  teacher Alejandro lost their bags, however, they should take a bus to the town because there, they had to meet with the rest of the people that were participating in the exchange.

Next day, they went to the highschool and there they were showing the presentation about Spain and later, they were visiting the highschool and they met other students and the teachers.

Finally they went out with their friends (the rest of the students).

Next days they visited Trakia and Vilnius.

The last day, they returned to Riga, and they went to a hotel. There, they did something like a little party among friends and they had a good time !

I think they want to come back again. :)

LITHUANIA

LITHUANIA
Four of my partners have been to Lithuania for a week. Aurelio, Beatriz, Daniel and Alba went to Lithuania with two Spanish teachers. They told us when they arrived that they have spent a really nice time there and they would like to repeat the trip again without thinking it.
First day, they took some public transports to get to Lithuania and they had to wait a lot for the plane. However, it wasn´t the worst thing that happened this day because Alba and one of the Spanish teachers lost they  luggage and they didn’t  recover it until two days had passed.
When they arrived to Lithuania, they met their host families. Aurelio and Beatriz stayed with the same family, however, Beatriz didn’t like the place where she slept because she slept with a dog. Aurelio and Beatriz told us that the house was very dirty. Alba and Daniel said that their host families were great.
In Lithuania, they saw many important monuments and they think that it´s a cosmopolitan wonderful city; however, they state that Seville is much more colorful than Lithuania and they stand that people from Seville are much more open-minded and kind than people from Lithuania.
Finally, they told us that when they were coming back by bus from Málaga to Seville, the bus started to burn. They got out to the road as quickly as they could. Nothing bad happened. They had to wait some hours in a petrol station to come back, that´s all.
